OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
The Mission of the Pittsfield Figure Skating Club is to develop athletes in the sport of figure skating, whether recreational or competitive, in a professional environment that encourages fun, fitness, safety and good sportsmanship, while also providing opportunities in the sport which promotes determination and ultimately self-esteem.
PAST AND PRESENT:
The Pittsfield Figure Skating Club (PFSC) was founded in 1977 with the merging of the Berkshire Hills Figure Skating Club and the Woodland Figure Skating Club. PFSC is a non-profit organization affiliated with the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). The club provides skaters of all ages and abilities the opportunity to develop their figure skating skills in a safe and healthy environment. PFSC professional coaches are USFS members and provide group and private instruction.
